English Translation:
Because you are born you will die, and again the soul will take rebirth in a new body. And nobody can complain about this circle of birth and death this is eternal and will keep going. Hence wise men should never lament about the death of anyone or any of their close ones.

क्योंकि पैदा हुएकी जरूर मृत्यु होगी और मरे हुएका जरूर जन्म होगा। इस (जन्म-मरण-रूप परिवर्तन के प्रवाह) का परिहार अर्थात् निवारण नहीं हो सकता। अतः इस विषयमें तुम्हें शोक नहीं करना चाहिये।

Hindi Translation
बाग में फूल कुछ दिन के लिए ही खिलते हैं, भगवान ही उन्हें अपने पास बुलाते हैं, जिससे वे सबसे ज्यादा प्यार करते हैं
English Translation
Flowers in the garden blossom for some days, God only takes with him to whom he found very dear.

प्रकृतिम स्वामवष्टभ्य विसृजामि पुन: पुन:।
भूतग्राममिमं कृत्स्नमवशम प्रकृतेर्वशात!
Hindi Translation:
हम आपके और आपके परिवार के लिए प्रार्थना करेंगे, कोई भी भाग्य से पहले नहीं आया है, इस बार उसने एक दिव्य आत्मा को अपने चरणों में आश्रय दिया है, कि वह मृत आत्मा मोक्ष प्राप्त करे।
English Translation
We will pray for your family, no one comes before his fate, he gave a place to his above great soul that this soul may get freed from this cycle of birth and death.

देहेन्द्रियादिसंबन्धवशाज्जातश्चेति।
नित्यजातस्तमेनमात्मानं नित्यमपि सन्तं जातं चेन्मन्यसे
तथा नित्यमपि सन्तं मृतं चेन्मन्यसे तथापि
त्वं नानुशोचितुमर्हसीति प्रतिज्ञाय
हेतुमाह जातस्य हीत्यादिना।
नित्यस्य जातत्वं मृतत्वं च प्राग्व्याख्यातम्!
Hindi Translation:
भगवान जो करता है उसके पीछे कुछ छिपा है, शायद इस बार उसने आपके पिता के लिए फैसला किया है कि वह स्वर्ग में आराम करे, आपके पिता की आत्मा को शांति मिले!
English Translation
God does things because there is something a bigger motto behind it, he has taken your father so that he can rest in peace, and may his soul get peace.

देहिनोऽस्मिन्यथा देहे कौमारं यौवनं जरा।
तथा देहान्तरप्राप्तिर्धीरस्तत्र न मुह्राति।।
English Translation
जैसे जीवात्मा की इस देह में बालकपन, जवानी और वृद्धावस्था होती है, वैसे ही अन्य शरीर की प्राप्ति होती है, उस विषय में धीर पुरुष मोहित नहीं होता।
English Translation
As the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A self-realized soul is not bewildered by such a change.

शोको नाशयते धैर्य, शोको नाशयते श्रॄतम्।
शोको नाशयते सर्वं, नास्ति शोकसमो रिपु।।
भावार्थ:
शोक और निराशा सब्र का नाश करती है, शोक स्मृति का नाश करता है, शोक सबका नाश करता है, अत: शोक के समान कोई दूसरा शत्रु नहीं है।
English Translation
In the extreme grief that ShriRaama had to leave for the forests, Kausalya speaks harshly to Dasharatha. However, she immediately realizes her mistake and requests Dasharatha to excuse her. She then speaks this wonderful verse that declares that grief is the biggest enemy of oneself.

वासांसि जीर्णानि यथा विहाय
नवानि गृह्णाति नरोऽपराणि।
तथा शरीराणि विहाय जीर्णा
न्यन्यानि संयाति नवानि देही।।
Hindi Translation:
जिस प्रकार मनुष्य पुराने वस्त्रों को त्यागकर नये वस्त्रों को ग्रहण करता है, उसी प्रकार आत्मा पुराने शरीरों को त्यागकर नये शरीरों को प्राप्त करती है।
English Translation
The way person wears new clothes on by leaving the old one, in the same way, the soul also takes the new body leaving the old one.
